Minimum Interpretation Rules

  • adresse is dwelling-level addressing.
  • husnummer is the entrance-level anchor most other registries join through.
  • adressepunkt carries geometry; address records themselves do not.
  • navngivenvej and postnummer are supporting lookup layers, not substitutes for the address object.

Access Strategy

  • Use DAR directly for geocoding, address matching, and canonical join keys.
  • Use DAWA for lightweight address lookup and Datafordeleren for full register workflows.
  • Join outward from DAR to other registries when address precision matters.
