How to Navigate Data
You can access Danish fundamental data through two complementary views:
1. By Collection (Grunddatamodellen Registries)
Browse authoritative data registries organized within the Grunddatamodellen (Danish Fundamental Data Model).
- Start with Grunddatamodellen overview to understand how registries relate
- Direct access to specific registries: CVR, DAR, Matrikel, etc.
- Best if you know the registry name
2. By Sphere (Semantic Domains)
Navigate by thematic interest—find data organized by spheres like Socio-Technical, Atmosphere, Biosphere, etc.
- Each sphere describes its semantic scope and relevant data registries
- Best if you’re asking a research question (e.g., “Where do companies cluster?”, “What’s in the atmosphere?“)
- Links back to specific collections for detailed access
